New life has already started

Hey everybody! Finally I'm in Dubai, settled in my apartment (well, I should say half-settled... there's still one suitcase left to be unpacked. And some more bags. Oh yes, and two boxes. I'll do it tomorrow. Or the other, who cares :)). I'm here, and very very happy to be here. I started the Induction today, and we have one week of Induction before we start the Cabin Crew Course. We all have heard about the first 7 weeks, and we all know they're going to be hard. So that's the reason for which I'll try to do my best and well, think that if there's a will, there's a way. Don't you think? :)

I arrived around 5am in my apartment on Tuesday, and my flatmate was sleeping as you can guess. So I met her the day after. Her name is Anna, and she is from Kenya. And I really like her, she makes me feel comfortable and maybe in a few weeks I can say I feel like home (hope so!). The apartment is huge! We are just two people and we have 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and an amazing and really well decorated living room. I will share some pictures of it with you soon.

What else... Along with 3 colleagues I went to the biggest mall in the world, which is called Dubai Mall (very original name, lol). It has an aquarium inside (yes, you've just read it right). It is close to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the whole world with 828m. As you can see, Dubai has the -est of everything when it comes to architecture.
I spend much of my spare time with Stephanie,a girl from France that I met in the Open Day of Emirates in Barcelona.

Isn't it impressive? I was speechless in front of it. I recommend to go see it by night, you will be dazzled!

Hola a tots! Ja estic finalment a Dubai, instal·lada en el meu apartament (bé, hauria de dir mig instal·lada... encara em queda una maleta per desfer. I algunes bosses més. I també dues caixes. Crec que ho faré demà. O l'altre, que més dóna :)). Estic aquí, i molt molt contenta d'estar-hi. He començat l'Induction avui, i tenim una setmana d'Induction abans de començar el curs de preparació. Tots hem sentit rumors sobre les 7 primeres setmanes, i tot sabem que seran dures. I és aquesta la raó per la qual intentaré fer-ho el millor possible i pensar que voler, és poder. No creieu? :)

Vaig arribar sobre les 5am a l'apartament dijous, i la meva companya de pis estava dormint com podeu imaginar-vos. Es diu Anna i és de Kenya. Em fa sentir molt còmoda i molt a gust, així que espero que en unes poques setmanes pugui dir que em sento com a casa. L'apartament és enorme! Només som dues persones i tenim 2 dormitoris i 3 banys, i una sala d'estar increible i molt ben decorada. Ja us ensenyaré algunes fotos.

La major part del meu temps lliure el passo amb l'Stephanie, una noia de França que vaig conèixer a l'Open Day d'Emirates a Barcelona.

Què més... Juntament amb 3 companys vaig anar al centre comercial més gran del món, Dubai Mall (molt original el nom, no?), i té un aquari dins (sí, heu llegit bé). Està al costat del Burj Khalifa, l'edifici més alt de tot el món amb 828m. Com podeu veure, Dubai té, pel que fa a l'arquitectura, un gran número d'edificis increïbles.
